2 Injured In Hartford Shootings Overnight: Police
The victims were shot in separate incidents, and both are alive. One of the shootings was likely an accident, Hartford police said.
HARTFORD, CT — Two people were injured in unrelated shootings in Hartford overnight, Hartford police said.
Police were alerted to the first shooting at around 9:15 p.m. Thursday via ShotSpotter, and officers were dispatched to the area of Main Street at Ashford Street.
There, they found a man in his thirties suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said he was alert and conscious and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

At around 1:12 a.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to 37 Kelsey St. on a report of a person shot. The victim, a woman in her thirties, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The person suspected of shooting the woman remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, and police said the shooting appears to be accidental.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed investigations into each shooting.
