3 Displaced, Woman Injured In Hartford Apartment Fire: HFD
The blaze happened just past midnight on Friday morning.
HARTFORD, CT — A woman was transported to the hospital early Friday morning after her apartment was damaged by fire in Hartford.
According to the Hartford Fire Department, the apartment fire was in a three-story building on Niles Street at about 12:03 a.m.
Hartford firefighters responded to a three-story brick multi-unit apartment building in Asylum Hill.

"Crews arrived to find an active fire and swiftly brought it under control," wrote the HFD.
The HFD said one adult female was rescued from the affected unit, treated on scene for possible smoke inhalation, and transported for further evaluation.

The fire was contained to a single apartment, and no other injuries were reported.
Three adults displaced from separate units are receiving assistance from the HFD's Special Services Unit and the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hartford Fire Marshal’s Office.
