October 21, 2025, Hartford, CT – Hartford Stage is thrilled to announce the full cast for its highly anticipated annual production of A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas, adapted and directed by Michael Wilson. Returning favorites and new faces will share the stage from November 22-December 28, 2025, to bring to life this classic story of compassion, second chances, and holiday magic.

“For many in our community, Hartford Stage’s A Christmas Carol is more than a show — it’s a cherished family tradition,” says Hartford Stage Artistic Director Melia Bensussen. “Each year, it brings us together in a celebration of community, compassion, and hope. We’re thrilled to bring it back with a talented cast, a bit of theatrical magic, and the same heartwarming message that continues to resonate year after year.”

This year’s cast is led by Guiesseppe Jones as Ebenezer Scrooge, Rebecka Jones as Christmas Past, Daniel Madigan as Christmas Future, Stuart Rider as Christmas Present, and Noble Shropshire as Marley. Also appearing this season are Erik Bloomquist, Emily Bosco, Natalie Brown, Robert Hannon Davis, Kenneth De Abrew, Patrick O’Konis, and Leslie Blake Walker.
Since 2004, Hartford Stage and The Hartt School at the University of Hartford have had a partnership-in-training program allowing students from the Theater Division to act and work in Hartford Stage productions. A talented group of Hartt students will be in A Christmas Carol: Max Ashford, Connor Austin, Lauren Bries, Raymond P G Cain, Celia Castillo-Torres, Hannah Fidler, Walker Kaul, Eric Orsini, Christina Rielle, and Claire Stillman. Hartt students Julianna Noelle Misluk and Sophie Walters will be Assistant Directors for the production.
The cast also includes a group of youth actors from the Greater Hartford region. Avon: William Griffith and William Schloat; Bloomfield: Aria Pierce and Saige Stewart; Cheshire: James Salvo; East Hartford: Orlandus “Zeke” Lane and Braelyn Lane; East Lyme: Vivienne Gates-Graceson; Harwinton: Sawyer Delaney; Middletown: McKenna Pettie-Uzoka; Rocky Hill: Julia Sheehan; Simsbury: Avery Cerny, Campbell Cerny, and Gibson Quinn; South Windsor: Isabella Lundy; West Hartford: Evely Butterfield, Addison Curren, Theodore Curren, Coralie Frumkin, Serena Hoffman, Cru Aspen Lyles, and Adelina McGinnis; Wethersfield: Avery McMahon and Andrew Michaels.
The production features choreography by Hope Clarke, scenic design by Tony Straiges, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting Design by Robert Wierzel, original music & sound design by John Gromada, original costume design by Zack Brown, wig design by Brittany Hartman, and flying effects by ZFX, Inc. The Production Stage Manager is Kelly Hardy, and Assistant Stage Managers are Chandalae Nyswonger and Campbell Anidjar.
Tickets and Performance Details:
A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas runs from November 22 to December 28, 2025, with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2:00 p.m. Tickets start at $30 for adults and $15 for children 18 and under. Groups may create a special occasion out of their visit with a private reception before the performance. The theater advises audiences to be careful and not purchase tickets through any other website. Third party re-sellers will try to sell false tickets for twice the price or more.
