Celebrate Kwanzaa At Special Event In Hartford Saturday

The Hartford Public Library's 'Kwanzaa Festival 2024' will take place starting at 12:30 p.m. at the downtown site in Hartford.

HARTFORD, CT — The city's library is hosting a special Kwanzaa celebration Saturday afternoon at its main site downtown.

Guests are invited to celebrate family, community, and culture at Hartford Public Library’s "Kwanzaa Festival 2024."

It will take place Saturday, Dec. 28, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the downtown library, 500 Main St., Hartford.

It will feature an afternoon filled with music, art, food, and the spirit of Ujima (collective work and responsibility).

"This special event will take place in our Center for Contemporary Culture, and everyone is welcome to experience the joy and connection of Kwanzaa together," wrote the library.
