Drunk Driving Checkpoint Planned in Hartford This Week, Find Out Where
The Hartford Police Department will be out looking to enforce drunk driving laws in the city this week.
HARTFORD, CT — City police will be active in Hartford on Thursday evening, looking to catch motorists driving while impaired.
The Hartford Police Department Traffic Division announcedit will conduct an "operating under the influence (OUI) enforcement checkpoint" on Thursday, Jan. 8, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9.
The checkpoint will be in the area of 212 Capen St., Hartford, police said.

This checkpoint is part of the Hartford Police Department’s ongoing expanded OUI enforcement program, supervised by the Traffic Division and funded through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation OUI Enforcement Program.
