Hartford 2023 Election Guide: Polls Open At 6 a.m. Tuesday
Here's everything you need to know concerning the Hartford local elections, including the candidates, polling places and voting hours.

HARTFORD, CT — On Tuesday, Nov. 7, Hartford residents will cast their votes for several key municipal positions, with polls opening at 6 a.m.
Contested races include the town council and school board.
Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Republican: Michael McGarry
Petitioning: Gisele Gigi Jacobs
Petitioning: Nick Lebron
Petitioning: J. Stan McCauley
Petitioning: Mark Stewart Greenstein
City Council (vote for six)
Democratic candidates are: Thomas TJ Clarke II, Marilyn E. Rossetti, Kelly Bilodeau, Shirly Surgeon, Maly Rosado and Amilcar Hernandez.
Republican candidates are: William Connelly and Barry J. D'Andrea.
Working Families Party candidates are: Tiana Hurcules, Alexander Thomas and Joshua Michtom.
Green Party candidates are: Mary L. Sanders.
The Hartford Party candidates are: John Q. Gale.
Treasurer (vote for one)
Democrat: Carmen Sierra.
Petitioning: Matthew J. Hennessy.
Constables (vote for four)
Democrats (unopposed): Radames V. Vazquez, Mamie M. Bell, Ronnie Walker and Ellen S. Nurse.
