Hartford PD To Operate Drunk Driving Checkpoint In City This Week

The operation will take place for several hours on a city roadway.

HARTFORD, CT — City police will be setting up in Hartford Thursday night into early Friday morning to enforce drunk driving laws.

The Hartford Police Department Traffic Division announced this week it will conduct an operating under the influence checkpoint on Thursday, Dec. 4.

Police will be on hand from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday morning, Dec. 5, in the area of 401 Flatbush Ave., Hartford.

This checkpoint is part of the Hartford Police Department’s ongoing, expanded OUI enforcement program.

It is being supervised by the Traffic Division and funded through a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation OUI Enforcement Program.
