Hartford Police ID Victim In Fatal Motorcycle/Car Crash

The accident involved a motorcycle and a car on Saturday night.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police on Sunday identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in the city Saturday night as a 26-year-old Hartford man.

Police said the victim was identified as Luis Jiminez Flores, 26, of Hartford.

According to the HPD, at approximately 8:08 p.m. Saturday, Hartford police responded to 738 Maple Ave. for a reported motorcycle vs. vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, officers located a blue Yamaha YZ250 off-road motorcycle and its male operator suffering from life-threatening injuries, police said.

The HPD said the second vehicle, a white Lexus RX330, was also located nearby with its operator present.

Police said Flores was transported to Hartford Hospital by ambulance, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The Hartford Police Crime Scene Division continues to investigate.
