The former First Lady, U.S. Senator, Secretary of the State, and 2016 presidential nominee is promoting her latest book this fall.

HARTFORD, CT — A former First Lady, U.S. Senator, Secretary of the State, and 2016 U.S. presidential hopeful will be in Hartford as part of a national speaking tour to coincide with her latest book.
Hillary Clinton recently announced she will be at The Bushnell Performing Arts Center, 166 Capitol Ave., Hartford, on Sept. 26. Her program is entitled "Hillary Clinton Live."
Presale tickets for her event start next week on July 30, with tickets open to the general public on Aug. 2.

Clinton will release her latest book "Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love and Liberty" on Sept. 17.
She first came into the national spotlight as the First Lady when her husband, Bill Clinton, was elected president in 1992 and, again, in 1996, leaving after two terms in 2000.

She then became a U.S. senator representing New York before becoming Secretary of the State during President Barack Obama's administration.
In 2016, she was poised to become the first-ever woman president, but the Democrat lost to Republican Donald Trump despite winning the popular vote, but not garnering enough electoral votes.
Starting in September, she will be touring the U.S. on a multi-city book tour during the fall, just prior to the U.S. elections, where Democrat Kamala Harris is hoping to do what Clinton couldn't do, defeat Trump at the polls.
