Huge St. Patrick's Day Parade Steps Off In Hartford Saturday

The event on March 15 is the 53rd Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade, which steps off at the state capitol building at 11 a.m.

HARTFORD, CT — One of Hartford's biggest events of the year is this Saturday, March 15, and the luck of the Irish has the weather looking fine for a parade.

The Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Committee is, again, hosting the 2025 Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 15, the 53rd year of the event.

As always, it will step off at 11 a.m. at the State Capitol Building, 210 Capitol Ave.

The parade, featuring marchers, bands and floats (all with an Irish theme) will wind its way through the city and end at the Memorial Arch at Bushnell Park.

The day before the event, folks are invited to the annual Mass for the parade.

Greater Hartford St Patrick's Day Parade Annual Mass

On Friday, March 14, at 6 p.m., the CCCCC’s annual St Patrick’s Day Parade Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church, 285 Church St., Hartford, CT.

"Please join us as we celebrate the 53rd anniversary of this event with the parade committee, our Town Committee members, our Town Honorees, and to provide you the opportunity to witness the presentation of his official walking stick, to Parade Grand Marshal Frank Droney," wrote parade organizers.

Free parking is available in the Sants Lot across the street from the church.
