An Interfaith Pre-Thanksgiving Community Service Continues Its Long Tradition

Annual Event for People of All Faiths

(Laura Soll)

Clergy and leaders of many faiths continued a longtime community tradition by participating in an Interfaith Pre-Thanksgiving service in South Windsor on November 25. The annual event for people of all faiths rotates among different South Windsor houses of worship and, this year, was hosted by Wapping Community Church UCC. Led by the largest number of clergy and attendees in recent years, the service featured inspirational readings, music and songs, and was moving and meaningful. After, all gathered for refreshments and warm conversation with members of different congregations.

Worshipping in an interfaith community can remind us that we are here for each other, and with each other...especially now.
