Man Shot Dead At Hartford Social Club: Police

Hartford police said the incident happened late Saturday night, Sept. 27.

HARTFORD, CT — City police are investigating a late-night homicide this weekend that happened at a local social club in Hartford.

According to the Hartford Police Department, at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday, officers were sent to the West Indian Social Club on Main Street for a report of a person being shot.

The HPD said officers then located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and he was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
