Stadium Parking Lot Explodes With Yuletide Color
The home of UConn football in East Hartford is hosting the third annual 'Magic of Lights' holiday attraction through Dec. 31.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — If Thomas Edison and Santa Claus got together for an evening of egg nog, they'd probably come up with what is happening at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field these days.
That's because what started on Thanksgiving and continuing until Dec. 31, is the transformation of the parking lot surrounding the home of University of Connecticut football into the home base for the holiday season.
Called "The Magic of Lights," the seasonal attraction features a drive-through journey of "twinkling and magical light displays to celebrate our grandest holiday of the year," according to event organizers.
