Teen Shot Outside Hartford Residence Friday Morning: Police

The 19-year-old male was rushed to a nearby hospital.

HARTFORD, CT — A teen was shot outside a residence in Hartford early Friday morning, prompting a police investigation.

According to the Hartford Police Department, on Friday, Dec. 5, at approximately 11:44 a.m., patrol officers responded to 61 Park River Drive for a report of a person shot.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male outside the residence suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation.
