At the October 9th meeting of the Trumbull-Porter Chapter, NSDAR members donated may items for Operation Cares – Boxes to Boots. Some of the items donated were individual packages of tuna, peanut butter, nuts, Kcups, fruit snacks, oatmeal, popcorn, small cans of chili, mac and cheese just to name a few. The items will be boxed and sent to our deployed soldiers.
Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution is open to any woman age 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American Independence.
