Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Hartford/Tolland County Until Wednesday Morning
The weather service has just issued an advisory and said "hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute."
HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
"Snow, sleet and freezing rain. Total snow accumulations 1-3 inches....Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute."

This Afternoon: Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet before 4pm, then rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet. High near 34. Light north wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tonight: Rain and snow before 2am, then a slight chance of snow between 2am and 3am. Low around 27. North wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 38. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
Thursday: A slight chance of snow showers before noon, then a chance of rain showers between noon and 2pm, then a chance of snow showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Southwest wind 6 to 16 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
