Woman Hospitalized After Being Shot In Hartford: Police

The victim, who was shot in the city late Saturday night, is described as a female in her 20s

HARTFORD, CT — City police are investigating a shooting over the weekend that injured a woman, who went to the hospital.

According to the Hartford Police Department, on Saturday, Nov. 22, at about 11:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 11 Greenwich St. on a ShotSpotter notification.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence of gunfire, police said.

While on scene, dispatch was notified of a gunshot victim who had arrived at St. Francis Hospital for treatment.

The victim, a female in her 20s, was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was listed in stable condition, police said.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
