Women's Business Group Opens New Office In Hartford

The Connecticut Women's Business Council also operates sites in New Haven, New London, Stamford, and Waterbury.

HARTFORD, CT — A nonprofit organization in Connecticut officially opened a new office in Hartford on Monday in its quest to help women start and succeed in business.

The Women's Business Development Council has opened up a regional office in Hartford, 190 Trumbull St. (Brownstone Building, Suite 201).

Monday, Gov. Ned Lamont along with other state and local dignitaries were expected for a special ceremony marking the occasion.

The WBDC's goal "is to support economic prosperity for women and strengthen communities through entrepreneurial and financial education services that create and grow sustainable jobs and businesses across Connecticut."

The organization operates other sites in New Haven, New London, Stamford, and Waterbury.

" These offices provide entrepreneurial support and education to support the growth and success of women-owned businesses in the regions they serve," wrote Lamont's office.
