MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester High School is hosting an open house on Thursday, Jan. 15 for eighth-graders and the parents and guardians of current eighth-grade students.The program starts at 5 p.m. in Bailey Auditorium with an overview and then from 5:20 to 6:15 p.m., there will be building tours and academic presentations in classrooms. Representatives of clubs, elective areas and academies will be in the cafeteria from 6:20 to 7:30 p.m. to share information and take questions.Current eighth-graders are welcome to attend with their parents or guardians. In the event of a weather-related postponement the event would be held on Thursday, Jan. 22.The high school is at 134 East Middle Turnpike. For more information please call 860-268-6377.
