MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester firefighters made quick work of a car that was engulfed in flames Friday night.

The fire broke out shortly after 10 p.m. in the the parking area of 190 Pine St., fire officials said.

A single vehicle was on fire in proximity to other cars and the building, and was quickly extinguished by crews from Engine 1 and Truck 2, fore officials said.

Two vehicles on either side of the fire sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.

The incident is under investigation by the Manchester Fire Marshal's office.
