Middletown Arrests: Feb. 17 to March 3
The following information was provided by the Middletown Police public information officer. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 9:24 a.m., police received a call from a child who said his mother, Debra A. Burgess, 41, of College Street, and father were fighting after the two children argued over a videogame. The report says the father pushed Burgess and she slapped him in the face, scratching him.

FIRST-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS — At 1:17 p.m., police were called to a home on College Street about a man who had broken into the basement. Michael Burrill, 33, of no known address told officers he was homeless and had nowhere to go, the report says. The property manager for that home and an adjoining one told officers Burrill repeatedly has been told to stay away. He refused to sign paperwork or wear any clothing, the report says.
VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — Terrance L. Davis, 39, of Portland Street was at the home of his wife harassing her, according to the report, after they argued verbally.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 7 p.m., Middletown Police picked up David Keating, 44, of Grove Street at Connecticut State Police Troop D in Danielson on a domestic incident.
NON-STUDENT POSSESSING DRUGS NEAR SCHOOL, SALE OF CERTAIN ILLEGAL DRUGS, POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO SELL, DISTRIBUTION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND LESS THAN 1,500 FEET FROM SCHOOL, CONSPIRACY — At 3 p.m., narcotics officers were surveilling the parking lot on East Main Street near the Dollar Store after receiving a complaint about drug sales, the report says. A man, Gino L. Rizzo, 18, of Millbrook Road, on a bike was seen entering the area and taking numerous phone calls. At 5:15 p.m., the report says, a Saab driven by Alexa M. Jerjies, 18, of Curry Lane, East Hampton, pulled up and the man got into the back seat. When police stopped them, the report says, they found 100 bags of heroin packaged for sale (23.1 grams) and a hypodermic needle, and Rizzo admitted he was selling the heroin after buying it in Hartford. He was found with three arrests: criminal trepass from Guilford and two sixth-degree larcenies from Madison. Both were charged with the above.
Feb. 19
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 10:22 p.m., Ahmet R. Ekiz, 18, of Gianotti Court, Wallingford, was driving a Honda Civic on Newfield Street without a front plate. The report says he told officers he had just driven from Stoneycrest Drive and was waiting for a friend to teach him how to drive.

INTERFERING WITH AN OFFICER, THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Troy Pasquale, 21, of Alex Street, Bridgeport, returned to the Eddy Shelter on LaBella Circle and was found with an outstanding warrant. The report says while in custody, Pasquale fought police and tried to kick out the rear windshield of the cruiser he was in. He told officers to "just kill me" several times, police say, so he was sent to Middlesex Hospital for an evaluation.
