MIDDLETOWN, CT — Night work on Route 9 Northbound and Southbound has begun in Middletown.

Starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m., the night work began on Sept. 25 and is projected to end on Friday, Oct.27.

Motorists can expect limited access in Middletown on Route 9 Northbound and Southbound. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

The project is being performed under the Department of Transpiration’s 2023 Bridge Maintenance Program and administered by DOT Maintenance District 1 in Hartford.
