Country Music Awards 2013: What Time and What Channel?
Producers will undoubtedly be on guard for "unscripted moments" that could possibly offend the crowd by co-hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan — especially the potential for superstar Taylor Swift being the butt of a joke or two

During tonight's 48th annual Academy of Country Music awards country fans worldwide will tune in to watch superstars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan co-host the event.
Producers will undoubtedly be on guard for "unscripted moments" that could possibly offend the crowd — especially the potential for superstar Taylor Swift being the butt of a joke or two, according to the Huffington Post.
Terming the duo "country music's biggest cut-ups," the HuffPo says, "A recent interview in Nashville with the two, who've given themselves the celebrity couple name 'Bluke,' veered wildly from a discussion of Bryan's unworthiness to host to crude jokes and Taylor Swift's fans."
Swift was poked fun at by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler during their bit at the Golden Globes last month, and by dozens of others, including Chelsea Handler, late-night talk show hosts, and Kanye West twice.
But that's all in a day's work for showbiz and for country music, whose most anticipated night of the year will be filmed live at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. on CBS.
John Fogerty and Faith Hill, along with hot new country chart-toppers Florida Georgia Line in a special collaboration with Nelly, and country music stars The Band Perry have been added to the all-star lineup of artists scheduled to perform.
They join Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Ne-Yo, Pitbull and Lady Antebellum. Fifteen-time ACM Award winner Tim McGraw is spotlighting the hottest music of the summer and calling on his friends to help kick off the 2013 touring season.
According to the Huffington Post, men dominate the music awards this year. "Many of the top names in country music will perform or appear, including top nominees Eric Church and Hunter Hayes, but most eyes will be on the marquee meeting of Garth Brooks and George Strait. Brooks and Strait, two of music's top-selling artists regardless of genre, have never performed together."
