Juggling And Running: Middletown Native's Inspiring Boston Marathon
A Middletown native took a unique approach to the 2024 Boston Marathon to honor a fallen friend.

MIDDLETOWN, — Middletown native Andrew Miller had a unique presence in this year's Boston Marathon.
He "joggled" the 26-miles.
That's running while juggling for those keeping core at home.

Miller's unique approach to the race served as a tribute to some unique circumstances.
Miller is an area physical therapist and an avid runner who has always wanted to qualify for the famed race with his friend, Eric Zagorda. Unfortunately, Zagorda passed away after a battle with cancer in 2008 before they could run the event.

In honor of his friend, Andrew ran the the entire Boston Marathon while juggling. Teaming up with the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team, Andrew also raised more than $14,000 to honor Eric, whose love for juggling inspired him.

Miller ran all through his years at Middletown High and learned to juggle at the Oddfellow's Circus Camp.
