Middletown Arrests: March 22 to April 2
The following information was provided by the Middletown Police public information officer. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Middletown Police report the following arrests:
April 2
FIRST-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — Nathan A. Doran, 23, of South Main Street turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
TWO COUNTS FIRST-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — Brandon L. Walker, 26, of Geneva Avenue, Chesapeake, Va., turned himself in on two outstanding warrants.
April 1
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 5:33 p.m. Maria Rosado, 35, of Main Street was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Washington and Main streets. She was found with an outstanding warrant.
VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — Diane Ruddy, 51, of Silver Street was intoxicated in a home on Silver Street, according to police, starting trouble. Ruddy told officers she knew of a protective order but didn't think it applied because he invited her to the house, admitted she was drinking vodka but they didn't get into a fight and she loved him, the report indicates.
March 30
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 12:45 p.m., Jorge Andino, 41, of Sexton Street, New Britain, was brought in by a bail bond agent with two outstanding warrants.
THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Brian K. Milliot, 35, of Country Squire Road, Cromwell, was at Middlesex Hospital on a police emergency evaluation and, the report says, tried to leave. The report says he punched a soap dispenser off the wall and an officer stopped him by a hit to the collarbone. He was put into four-point restraints, the report says. The damage was under $250, police say.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — Frederick Hahne, 20, of Marshall Road, Branford, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
March 27
OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, FAILURE TO CARRY CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE, OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, FAILURE TO HAVE LIGHTS LIT — At 10:57 p.m., Steven Dickerson, 42, of Chatham Court, Portland, was driving a Dodge Durango on Washington Street with a broken headlight.
SPEEDING — Randy P. McPherson, 47, of Washington Street was driving on West Street at 61 mph in a 25 mph zone. He apologized, the report says.
March 26
RECKLESS DRIVING, DUI, UNSAFE PASSING, POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE — At 10:10 p.m., Nathaniel Hamilton, 20, of Cannata Drive, Cromwell, was driving a Honda Civic and involved in a motor vehicle accident on East Street. The report says he hit a Nissan Maxima after trying to pass it on the left. Police found two plastic bags with marijuana inside on the grass. Hamilton allegedly told officers, "I smoked a dime, half a gram." The total amount of marijuana found was 30.5 grams. He refused a urine test after telling police he was "guilty."
PROSTITUTION — At 9:23 p.m. Jean M. Carroll, 50, of Church Street was standing with other women at Liberty and Pearl streets, near Aresco's Market, the report says, and got into an undercover police car. Carroll and the officer negotiated prices in exchange for sex, the report says.

OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 9:02 p.m. Sherry A. Hall, 38, of College Street was driving on Pearl Street near Washington. She told police she was driving her husband's car.
March 23
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 12:41 p.m., Hollitus E. Holloway, 32, of Washington Street was driving a Cadillac at Washington and Newfield streets with an open trunk.
March 22
OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, REFUSAL TO SHOW LICENSE, OPERATION WHILE USING CELL PHONE — At 11:28 a.m., Joseph DeRaffaele, 32, of Jefferson Avenue was driving a Ford F250 pickup with a plow while on his cell phone. Police found he was wanted by Rocky Hill Police for involvement in an evading accident, according to the report.
