Middletown Man Charged With Possession References Baltimore During Arrest
After being caught with crack cocaine, a city man became and angry with police and brought up cop shootings from around the country.

Police say a man who was caught with crack cocaine was so angry during the arrest that he began referencing cop shootings from Baltimore and Puerto Rico, and then spent an hour in lockup reportedly punching and kicking walls, the Middletown Press reports.
Richard Byrant, 45, of High Street, was stopped by police near Union Street on Tuesday, according to the Middletown Press. An officer said to have witnessed a drug exchange between Bryant and another party, and when police searched Bryant that is when they allegedly discovered to crack possession.
At the police headquarters, Bryant became agitated with police, and told an officer that if they were in Puerto Rico, someone would have “put a bullet” in the officer’s head, the Press reported.

Bryant also said the officer should go to Baltimore where “the black people are killing all of the cops,” the Middletown Press also reported.
