Middletown Voters Approve Public Safety Complex, School Projects

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Two local questions appeared on the 2024 Middletown Election Day ballot regarding a school and a new public safety building.

Here are the results.

Question 1:

"Shall the $10,000,000 appropriation and bond authorization for the planning, design, construction, and equipping of a new Public Safety 911 Center be approved?

• Yes - 13,633
• No - 6,362

Question 2:

"Shall the $48,900,000 appropriation and bond authorization for the renovation and extension of the Macdonough Elementary School be approved?"

• Yes - 12,973
• No - 7,067
