Kathleen J. Peck Principal of New Blessed John Paul II Regional Pre-K-8
St. Mary School is joining with St. John School in Middletown to form a regional, diocesan school scheduled to open on July 1. Peck will be the school's first principal.

Dr. Edward J. Shine, Superintendent of Schools of the Diocese of Norwich, announced that Kathleen J. Peck has been appointed principal of Blessed John Paul II Regional PreK-8 School in Middletown.
Peck is the principal of St. Mary of Czestochowa School in Middletown. Prior to her tenure at St. Mary, Mrs. Peck was principal of St. Joseph School in Rockville.
Peck has a B.A. degree in English from Southern Nazarene University, a M. Ed. degree from Cambridge College, a Certificate of Advanced Study from Regent University, and she completed graduate study in Christian School Leadership at Regent University.

Shine also announced that there will be a part-time associate principal position, focusing on the transition of the two schools into one, enrollment recruitment, development and advancement of the school’s mission and long range planning to strengthen regional participation in Catholic education.
