Obituary: John D. Heim, 69, of Middletown
John, a devoted and loving father, worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as an aircraft mechanic and also for New England Propellor.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) John D. Heim, 69, of Middletown, died Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. John was born in Hartford, son of the late Arthur and Genevieve (Loftus) Heim.
John was employed with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as an aircraft mechanic. He also worked for many years with his family’s company, New England Propellor.
He was also a graduate of East Coast Aero Technology.
John is survived by the light of his life his daughter, Mikayla Heim and her partner Damien of Middletown.
John was a wonderful friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Heidi Ouellette, Holly Tatoian, Heather Villanueva, four brothers, Lloyd, Arthur, Carl, and Robert Heim.
Funeral services will be held at 980 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT on October 24th at 12 pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
