A 25-year-old Middletown woman with a long record of arrests and convictions told officers she is a heroin user and prostitutes to fund her habit.

A 25-year-old city woman with a long record of arrests and convictions was charged with prostitution after offering her services on an online escort site, according to police.
On May 18, police received an online tip that Alison K. Kozikowski, 25, of Prospect Street was engaged in prostitution out of her home, using a website to offer her escort services, according to the report.
She was known by police to have an outstanding warrant from Farmington for failure to respond and on May 23, police saw her advertisement had been updated with a telephone number. At 3:51 p.m., an undercover officer called and made arrangements to meet Kozikowski for "sexual acts," according to the report, then arrested her.
The report says her cell phone had other clients trying to arrange sexual trysts. She told officers she is a heroin user and prostitutes to get money for her habit.
On April 24, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substances and sixth-degree larceny when she stole items from Rite Aid on Main Street. The report says she told the officer she was hungry and stole them because she didn't have money. Inside her purse was 11 packets of heroin totaling 5.1 grams, police say.
On April 11, she was charged with second-degree breach of peace after an argument on Grand Street over cigarettes.
On April 29, she was arrested for use of drug paraphernalia, possession less than half-ounce marijuana when she was found doing drugs in the basement of a home on Johnson Street. The report says she left on foot and was found by officers with marijuana, 10 ripped wax paper packets with 2.1 grams of heroin and she admitted to using.
