The murder charge levied this week is connected to the discovery of a body in an old industrial building in Middletown.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The 34-year-old Middletown man charged with murder this week in connection with the discovery of a body at a vacant factory building now has four cases against him, judicial system records show.

Julio Wright is due back in court for all four on April 2. He is currently in custody on bonds totaling $2,095,200.

The murder charge levied this week is connected to a property check conducted by Middletown officers on Nov. 4. While at the old Jackson Corrugated industrial building at 225 River Road, the officers discovered the body of 67-year-old Roger Davis. The Office of the Chief Medical examiner ruled the death a homicide as the result of multiple head and torso injuries due to a severe beating, most likely with a large piece of wood, according to a warrant.
