MIDDLETOWN, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Retired but now tirelessly working for others

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She spends quarantine sewing masks to donate.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She is selfless. Volunteering time, talents and masks to Senior Center, ABC women's Center, St Vincent de Paul, Amazing Grace and to friends to keep other healthy. Her generosity is year round collecting food and goods for the poor.
