Eagerly Anticipated Restaurant Sets Opening Date In Milford

The popular eatery has ramped up expansion efforts recently.

MILFORD, CT — Raising Cane's will open its new location in Milford on Oct. 2, according to media reports.

The Connecticut Scoop first reported that the 1455 Boston Post Road location will open on Oct. 2.

The eatery will open at the former Milford Bank location. Construction is almost completed on the new building. The eatery can accommodate up to 45 people inside and 24 people outside, according to Hearst CT.

Raising Cane's is currently hiring for an operations manager, and the pay is $26-28/hour, according to the job posting.

Raising Cane's was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996 and specializes in "hand batter premium chicken that's marinated for 24 hours," according to its website. The restaurant only serves its famous chicken fingers along with sides like crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast.

Raising Cane's currently has locations in Enfield, Wethersfield and Simsbury and plans for a location in Manchester to open on Oct. 28, according to their Google profile.
