Fire Personnel Respond To A Car On Fire: Milford FD

MILFORD, CT — Milford Fire Department quickly responded and extinguished a fire Sunday night, Adam Hansen, Milford Fire Department PIO, said.

On Sunday, Oct. 29, around 12:34 a.m., Milford Fire Department responded to a reported car fire on I-95 Southbound around Exit 39, Hansen said.

Squad No. 1, Engine No. 7 and Car No. 4 responded to the car fire, Hansen said.

When fire personnel arrived, they found a car fully engulfed in flames, Hansen said.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and the vehicle was overhauled, Hansen said.

All companies picked up and returned to service, Hansen said.
