Hall-O-Weekend In Milford: Here's All You Need To Know

Milford Downtown Business Association's annual Hall-O-Weekend features not-so-scary Halloween fun.

MILFORD, CT — Halloween is associated with horror and scary fun. However, during the annual Hall-O-Weekend, the Downtown Milford Business Association invites the community to enjoy a not-so-scary fun in charming downtown Milford.

The Hall-O-Weekend starts with the Outdoor Halloween Family Movie Night on Friday, Oct. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Gazebo on Milford Green. The feature film will be Hocus Pocus, and Scratch Baking has put together a Hocus Pocus Snack Box for people to enjoy while watching the Halloween Classic movie.

The Hocus Pocus Snack Box will have a Spell Book Brownie, Spooky Snack Bag, Rice KrispieTreat, Double Chocolate Cookie and a Black Cat Cookie.

Preorders are now open on their website.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, the Milford Trick or Trot 5K will take place to support the Beth-El Shelter and food programs.

On Sunday, Oct. 29, a full day of Halloween fun will be held on the Milford Green.

  • 10 a.m., a not-so-scarry Storytime will be with the Milford Public Library at the Gazebo.
  • At 11:30 a.m., a spooky children’s yoga with Be Yoga and Wellness will be held at the Gazebo.
  • At 12 p.m., Brian Smith (Captain Kidd) will lead a costume parade.

There will also be a market featuring arts, crafts, vendors, Hale Bale Maze, face painting and more activities on the Green from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Starting at 11 a.m. through 2 p.m., the popular Trick-or-Treat through participating downtown businesses will be taking place.
