Hooters In Milford Is Closed For Good, Property Owner Says
The signs have come down from the Hooters on Boston Post Road in Milford. The property owner says the restaurant will not be reopening.

MILFORD, CT — While the Hooters website currently lists the restaurant at 990 Boston Post Road as "temporarily closed," there's nothing temporary about it. Jim Beard, who owns the property, confirmed to Patch on Friday that his tenant "will not be reopening."
"Since the virus started they've been in default," he explained, "So we're in the process of getting possession of the property."
While the spot won't be featuring Hooters wings or distinctively-clad waitresses, Beard said he's planning to look for a new tenant to take the restaurant's place.

"It's a great location for somebody. We're hoping it won't be vacant for long."
Attempts to reach a Hooters press contact for comment on Thursday were not returned.
