Joyce Francis Norman, 77, of Milford, passed peacefully on June 1st, 2025. Born on July 22nd, 1947, in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Theodore LeGeyt and Barbara (Caine) Noack. Joyce is predeceased by Robert Norman, whom she was married to for 56 years.
Joyce grew up in the small town of New Hartford, CT with a large extended family.
It was in elementary school that she first met Robert, who would later go on to be the love of her life. They loved the beach and moved to Milford in the late 1960’s, where they started their family. Their home was always a place for friends and family to come for a meal or just to enjoy the backyard deck and play a game of cards. She loved to garden. Her yard was filled with her favorite flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed traveling and was always up for an adventure with her children and grandkids. And recently, through her love of reading, she was able to reconnect with old friends in their book club.
