Students raise money for cancer patients and their families

Students and families of St. Mark’s School in Stratford raised $3,300 during their annual Cut-a-Thon event for the Swim Across the Sound assistance program. In a bold show of support, children shave their heads, donate their hair or wear pink hair extensions in to help other families dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

This money is not for research—it's for real, immediate help. It will pay for rent, utilities, and rides to treatment for cancer patients right here in our area. Your generosity truly changes lives. Thank you, St. Mark School, Stratford School!
