Milford 2023 Election Voter Guide: Candidates, Polling Places

MILFORD, CT — On Nov. 7, Milford residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions. Contested races include: the town council and school board.

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Connecticut also allows for Election Day registration at designated centers in each town. People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration. To receive your absentee ballot, complete and sign an application and return it to your Town Clerk, or you can request an absentee ballot online.

City Clerk

Democratic candidate is Karen Fortunati and the Republican candidate is Jack Fowler.

Board of Aldermen 1st District

Democratic candidates are Matt Arciuolo II and Michelle Parente and Republican candidates are Buddy Prete, Andy Fowler and Jason Jenkins.

Board of Education 1st District
Democratic candidates are Erin Pinsince and Gary Peluchette and Republican candidates are Scott Firmender and Christina Prete.

Planning and Zoning 1st District
The Democratic candidate is Joe Castignoli and the Republican candidate is John Agnese.


Board of Aldermen 2nd District

Democratic candidates are Ward Willis and Robert A. Pacelli Jr. and Republican candidates are Chris Goulden and Scott Marlow.

Board of Education 2nd District
Democratic candidates are Meghan Doyle and Susan Glennon and Republican candidates are Bob Tschilske and Frank Musante.

Planning and Zoning 2nd District

The Democratic candidate is John Mortimer and the Republican candidate is Mark Macchio.


Board of Aldermen 3rd District

Democratic candidates are Holly E. Mulrenan and Paul J. Healy and Republican candidates are Michael S. Casey and Jeffrey A. Parkin.

Board of Education 3rd District
Democratic candidates are Uma Petroske and Tracey Irby and Republican candidates are Thomas Jagodzinski and Ellen Monforte.

Planning and Zoning 3rd District
The Democratic candidate is Robert Satti and the Republican candidate is Steve Visconti.


Board of Aldermen 4th District

Democratic candidates are Phil Vetro and Jennifer Federico and Republican candidates are Win Smith Jr., Dan German and Katie R. Martino.

Board of Education 4th District

Democratic candidates are Cindy Wolfe Boynton and Tom Koba and Republican candidates are Nancy L. Sobocinski and Tara J. Galbo.

Planning and Zoning 4th District

The Democratic candidate is Joseph Alling and the Republican candidate is Frank Fanelli III.


Board of Aldermen 5th District

Democratic candidates are Carl S. Moore and Ellen R. Beatty and Republican candidates are Ray Vitali and Bill Bevan.

Board of Education 5th District

Democratic candidates are Mike Smith and Loren Mahler and Republican candidates are Scott A. Marlow and Dawn King.

Planning and Zoning 5th District

The Democratic candidate is Marc Zahariades and the Republican candidate is Andrew King.

You'll vote for up to four people. Democratic candidates are: Linda Hardiman, Theodore Boynton, Shaun Liebskind, and Dominic Cotton. Republican candidates include: Scott Monforte, Erik Smith, Steven T. Visconti, and Shirley Serrano.
