MILFORD, CT — Police in Milford are on the search for a pair of jewelry thieves who stole more than $9,000 worth of merchandise from a shop in the Connecticut Post Mall. In a Facebook Post, the Milford Police Department said the theft took place around 4 p.m. on June 22.

The department did not name the shop targeted by the suspected jewel thieves. Police shared three security camera images of the pair, including one photo that appears to show one of the men reaching over a counter and opening a drawer.

The theft occurred a little more than a month after the mall reopened following a shutdown under the state's stay-at-home order. The mall website currently lists four jewelry stores that have either opened or partially reopened.
