New Ice Cream Shop Opens In Downtown Milford

MILFORD, CT — A new ice cream shop has opened in downtown Milford.

River Street Cones Cups is occupying the former Micalizzi Ice Cream location at 1 River St., the Connecticut Scoop first reported.

According to its Facebook page, "We’re open! Ice cream, Gelato, Sorbet, & Artisinal Popsicles Located at 1 River Street, Milford, CT."

On their Instagram page, it notes, "Out of pure respect and appreciation, our shop offers 20% off to all officers and firefighters who work relentlessly to protect our town."
