New Restaurant, Bar Opens In Milford's Woodmont Neighborhood

MILFORD, CT — A new restaurant and bar has opened in the Woodmont section of Milford. Anchor Social Milford has replaced the Village Bistro restaurant at 141 Merwin Ave., as reported by The Connecticut Scoop.

The restaurant serves steak, salads, fish, seafood, and burgers along with a list of wines and cocktails. Anchor Social also has a raw bar with oysters, clams, lobster, shrimp, and more.

The recently opened restaurant begins serving its full menu Friday, according to its Facebook page.

Anchor Social is currently open for dinner from 5 to 9 p.m., and the bar is open until 11 p.m. They plan to expand their hours in the coming weeks.
