Obituary: Antoinette Podpolucha, 89, of Milford
Antoinette worked in quality control at Schick for many years and was an active parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Church.
MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Antoinette Podpolucha, age 89, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Podpolucha, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Antoinette was born in Nanticoke, PA on April 13, 1933 to the late Frank and Petronella Gritsko.
She retired from Schick where she worked in Quality Control. Antoinette was an active parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild, a Lecter and part of the crocheting group.
Survivors include her children: James Podpolucha (Elizabeth) and Peter Podpolucha both of Milford, sisters, Phyllis Piccolello of Trumbull and Carol Lewis (James) of Martinsville, Virginia, five grandchildren; Ryan, Kyle and Clayton Podpolucha of Meriden, Alexander Podpolucha (Erin) of Shelton and Alison Delmott (Fabien) of France, and sister-in-law, Sandra Gliniak of Meriden.
Antoinette is predeceased by her two sons, Michael and Mathew Podpolucha and brothers: Edward and Frances Gritsko. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass for Antoinette on Saturday June 18th at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the Redeemer Church, 325 Oronoque Road, Milford.
Interment will be private.
Purple was her favorite color. The family asks that those in attendance wear something purple and dress comfortably. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
