Katherine B. Banyay, age 44, of Milford, died on Friday, February 10, 2023. Katie was born in Bridgeport on August 25th 1978 to Leslie and Carol Stancavage Banyay. She graduated from UCONN in 2000 and later pursued an education at the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing. She served several years at Bridgeport Hospital specializing in cardiac care. Katie will be greatly missed by her family & friends.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her brother, Stephen (Renee) of Orange, nieces, Carolynn and Violet Jane Banyay and fiancé Steve Russo. Katie is predeceased by her brother, L. John Banyay III, maternal grandparents, Winfield and Margaret Stancavage and paternal grandparents, Helen and Leslie Banyay & Aunt Diane Banyay Doyle. Arrangements have been entrusted with The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, Milford. Services will be private.
