Popular Pizzeria Opens 2nd Location In Downtown Milford

MILFORD, CT — A new pizzeria opened in Downtown Milford earlier this month. Pizza Lyfe is located at 2 Broad St.

The restaurant opened May 14. The original Pizza Lyfe is located on Boston Post Road in Westport.

Owner Dimitri Pantzos said Pizza Lyfe has "a lot of customers who visit our Westport location that live in Milford and the surrounding cities."

"We also love downtown Milford, and the feeling is very similar to a European town, where people are walking around and enjoying the Green," Pantzos said.

Pizza Lyfe serves New York-style pizza and specialty pies like truffled mushroom, buffalo chicken, and artichoke. They also serve a variety of salads, appetizers, grinders, and pasta.

Pantzos said that Pizza Lyfe sets itself apart from the competition because of its sourdough crust, best-quality ingredients, and whole grain flours.

"We’re committed to using fresh, locally-sourced vegetables whenever they’re in season, ensuring the best ingredients make their way to your plate," the restaurant's website reads.

The family has more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant business.

Pizza Lyfe is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
