Porchfest To Feature Live Music, Food Trucks In Milford
The event has grown over the years and now features concerts on 135 porches in six Milford neighborhoods.
MILFORD, CT — Porchfest is coming up this weekend in Milford. The event is Saturday, Oct. 4 from noon to 6 p.m.
"Porchfest is a day dedicated to celebrating community with free live concerts all around town, from - you guessed it - Milford’s residents’ porches," organizer said.
The event has grown over the past few years and now features over 135 porch concerts through six neighborhoods in Milford.

"Porchfest is a national grassroots 'movement' to bring folks together, and we’re the only town around who has six areas participating," according to organizers.
Concerts will be in Downtown, Walnut/Wildemere, Woodmont, Point 2 Point, Silver Sands/ Ft Trumbull and Forest Heights neighborhood zones.

There will be an interactive map available for attendees to check performance locations and timing.
The event is in partnership with the Milford Arts Council, and sponsored by Skinner Wealth Strategies and by UI, an Avangrid Company.
Food trucks will be around town too.
"We’re excited to bring so many musicians and enjoyment to the Milford community," organizers said.
