Raising Cane's To Open Restaurant In Milford This Week
The anticipated opening of the fried chicken franchise's fourth location in the state is set for this week.

MILFORD, CT — Chicken finger phenomenon Raising Cane's will open its doors in Milford this week.
The 1455 Boston Post Road restaurant will celebrate its opening Thursday. The location is the former home of Milford Bank.
The eatery can accommodate up to 45 people inside and 24 people outside.

A ribbon-cutting event will be 9 a.m. to noon Thursday.
All those attending will have a chance to enter a giveaway for free Raising Cane's for a year. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m. and 20 people will be chosen as winners. More information is available here.

Raising Cane's was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996 and specializes in "hand batter premium chicken that's marinated for 24 hours," according to its website. The restaurant only serves its famous chicken fingers along with sides like crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast.
Raising Cane's currently has locations in Enfield, Wethersfield and Simsbury and plans for a location in Manchester to open on Oct. 28, according to their Google profile.
The new restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight with extended hours Friday and Saturday from 10 to 1 a.m.
