Schedule Released On Holiday Garbage, Recycling Collection For Milford

The city has released an updated schedule for curbside garbage and recycling pickup due to the upcoming holiday.

MILFORD, CT — The City of Milford has released a revised garbage and recycling schedule for the upcoming holiday.

There will be no curbside garbage or recycling collection on Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The city posted the following revised collection schedule on Facebook:

  • On Tuesday, Jan. 20, Monday's routes will be collected
  • On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Tuesday's routes will be collected

All collections will be delayed by one day.

Also, Milford Public Works will be closed Monday.

The Transfer Station will remain open Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"Thank you for your cooperation as we honor this important day of service and remembrance," Milford Public Works wrote.
