Tenant Charged After Assaulting Landlord: Milford PD
The tenant knocked the landlord to the ground and then choked them, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman was charged after she assaulted her landlord during a dispute, according to police.
The landlord went to a New Haven Avenue residence Feb. 17 to speak with Roychelle Mincey, 51, about some issues, police said.
Mincey charged at the landlord and tackled them to the ground, and then choked them, according to police.

Mincey fled from the residence after the incident and was located by police a short distance away. She was charged with third-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. She was released on a promise to appear.
