Tractor Trailer Hits Fixed Object On I-95 In Milford, Lanes Closed
Two lanes have been closed for more than three hours.

MILFORD, CT — It's been a tough travel morning for those of you utilizing I-95 in the Milford/Orange area on Tuesday.
At 6 a.m. a tractor-trailer struck a "fixed object" on the northbound side between exits 40 and 41, according to the state Department of Transportation. The right and center lanes were closed for several hours but have since reopened on Tuesday morning.
The Milford Fire Department on Facebook said that at 6 a.m. they responded to I-95 northbound near exit 40 and "crews found a Tractor Trailer off the side of the highway leaning on the guardrail & Tree-line. There was a breach to one of the saddle tanks which was quickly controlled. D.E.E.P. was called and responded to the scene. Expect heavy delays on the morning commute."
